Randy Young
Randy Young, M.A. Ed. Adm.
Program Coordinator
Randy has thirty years experience as an administrator, teacher, and coach in Northside ISD in San Antonio, Texas. Randy graduated from John Marshall High School in 1970 and received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwest Texas State University in 1974. He was awarded a Masters of Arts in Mid-Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1980.
Program Coordinator
Randy taught biology and physical education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Randy began teaching and coaching at E.M. Pease Middle School in 1974. Randy joined the staff at O.W. Holmes High School in 1976 where he taught and coached for eleven years. Randy served as assistant principal for six years at Holmes High School and fours years at Jack C. Jordan Middle School as a vice-principal. He was appointed principal at Coke Stevenson Middle School in 1998 and served for six years before retiring in 2004. As principal, he worked closely with the development of first year teachers through extensive supervision and mentoring.
